Transcript

Hello and welcome to Asase Ba, a podcast that honours oral tradition and shines light on Ghanaian stories that are often untold or silenced. I'm your host, Michelle, and my pronouns are she and her. Welcome back, guys. Welcome back. So it's been a minute, it's been a year since season two dropped. And season three is coming very soon.  I'm excited to be back, excited to release new content, have new conversations, try different things. I'm really excited. Can you count how many times I say the word "excited"?

Anyways, there's so much to look forward to. I just wanted to come back, do a little preview, get on your feeds again. For season three of Asase Ba, what you need to look forward to is a mixed bag of episodes. Last year was a themed season where I talked to a variety of elders and had such great conversations and everything. But this season, we're focusing on a mixed bag of conversations, different topics, and also some solo episodes.

I love a solo episode when I listen to a podcast. So get to know me a little bit more and how I do. But I'm super, super excited for season three. I have such great conversations with people that are passionate about what they talk about and I'm so excited to share that. So season three will drop very, very soon. So subscribe wherever you're listening, just so you can get it in your feed right away when the episode drops.

Subscribe on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, wherever you listen to Asase Ba. And a little bit of an announcement: so the transcripts for season one are now available. I'm trying to make Asase Ba more accessible and I am also currently working on season two transcripts, so I'll let y'all know when that's available. But season one transcripts are now available and you can grab the link in the show notes or if you listen to the episodes in season one, there is a link under each episode that links you directly to the transcripts.

Read and enjoy, if reading is more your thing. Read it, send it to your friends, your family, whoever. Asase Ba of course is on social media, so follow Asase Ba on Twitter and Instagram @AsaseBaPod. I post and share a lot of cool content on there. The social medias is where you’ll first know when Asase Ba season three will drop so follow there to keep up to date and all of that fun stuff. I can't wait to return very, very soon. And thank you for listening. See you very soon for season three. Bye!
